This project aims to promote to exchange people all over Japan by offering lodging facilities and community space in Active Life YADO that we has built. (http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/build-ishinomaki-multi-purpose-recovery-base-project/) A mental care of an earthquake victims is still needed. We are going to support them with local people by a community-rooted way.
We build "Active Life YADO" as a symbol of reconstruction on March 14th, 2015 in Ishinomaki, Miyagi, JAPAN that had suffered from Tsunami and an earthquake. We want it to be a community space so we plan to have various kinds of programs to encourage people there. However, because of poorly funded, it is difficult to carry out these programs in the status quo.
We are able to conduct various activities. For example, workshops, tea parties and talk events in the facility by donation. In addition, it would be possible to conduct a fishery, diving and agriculture and forestry experience. we are going to make Active Life YADO a place to enhance and maintain people exchange.
Relationship and communication between people can be a mental care for people in disaster-stricken area. Moreover, we expects new economic effects by making use of space of Active Life YADO.
