On 23th May, our Spanish restaurant in Long Beach House was invited to “sea squirt festival 2016” in Sendai-shi, the central city of Miyagi-prefecture. We provided visitors with paella with sea squirt and laver soup. We used sea Squirts freshly caught in the seas about Ojika-peninsula and lavers caught in the seas about Watanoha, where Long Beach House is. It was a good opportunity for people in Miyagi-prefecture to let us know. We will continue to take part in events like this and want to put enthusiasm in Miyagi-prefecture.
On 29th June, we gathered cooks and fishermen, farmers to Long Beach House in Ishinomaki-city and held an exchange meeting. From day to night, a lot of professional chefs or bartenders came and shared their technique or information. At the night, professional artists participated and it got quite lively. We are supposed to hold various exchange meetings regularly.
On 24th July, we invited Shinsuke Sugawara, a singer songwriter from Sendai-shi, to Long Beach House and held his acoustic live here. More then 30 people visited. Recently more artists are using Long Beach House for their lives. It is grateful for our facility to be used as concert sites.
