Thank you so much for your donation to IDRAP work on Early Childhood Education for Poor Families in South East Province in eastern part of Indonesia. Your generosity means everything to us and to the community we serve. We know you have a lot of choices when it comes to donating, and we are so grateful that you chose to donate to our cause. We promise to be responsible stewards of both your donation and your trust.
In this first four-month period, with limited funds collected, the field activities carried out by IDRAP were providing assistance with filling cabinets (cupboard) for storing equipment and teaching materials at private PAUDs (early education center) in South Konawe as well as to encourage the PAUD administrators to continue to maintain their existence, although support from local government has not come. On this occasion, IDRAP has provided 5 filling cabinets which were was highly appreciated by the PAUD administrators.
Apart from bringing the filling cabinets, IDRAP staffs also joined with the PAUD administrators to play together with the children to motivate them to continue learning at PAUD even though the facilities were very limited and simple. Introducing letters to early children is a side activity on field trips. The children and PAUD administrators are very enthusiastic with this visit and the presence of IDRAP in their village.
“I am very grateful for the assistance that has been provided by IDRAP amidst the difficulty of finding the help. The children in this village are very dependent on the existence of this PAUD which is the only place for them to learn." Naria, PAUD administrator.
Thank you all for your support. We are all improving the future of children, especially those who come from poor families to get access to proper early childhood education. Providing equal opportunities for children from poor families to obtain the right to early childhood education.
