Families rely on unsafe sources such as shallow wells, rivers, and unregulated vendors, leading to frequent waterborne diseases like cholera, typhoid, and diarrhea. Poor sanitation and limited hygiene facilities in homes and schools worsen the situation, affecting health, school attendance, and livelihoods. This cycle of unsafe water continues to trap vulnerable communities in poverty.
