Dear supporters
Once again I am delighted to provide an update on the work taking place with more than 350 children who we are educating through Doorstep School. As the pandemic continues to have an adverse impact on individuals and communities around the world, digital learning has been the key intervention to help these children.
Alongside raising awareness on current affairs and social values the teachers managed to clarify mathematical and scientific concepts with the uses of various apps and information sources available on digital devices.
Online Mental Health sessions were one of the key effective interventions that were initiated to support children and parents to deal with the consequences of this global Covid-19 pandemic. Children and parents were educated on how to manage their stress and to cope with the isolation and restrictions imposed upon their daily routines.
As some face to face learning resumes children are interacting again, writing diaries, reading and interacting again and I hope you enjoy reading this report as much as I have.
We continue to depend on donations to support our children at Doorstep School and look forward to having you as our fundraising partners this year.
With 2022 here and our rejuvenated spirit to continue our efforts towards helping the children we support to stand on their own feet, we wish you a safe and resilient 2022!
