I am thrilled to share with you the incredible impact of your generosity and support towards the "Malaria Prevention through Drama in Uganda" project by PLATFORM for the NEEDY (PLANE) Uganda.
Thanks to your contributions, we have achieved remarkable results in our mission to combat malaria in vulnerable communities.
Achievements:
- Engaged over 8,768 individuals through engaging drama performances in various communities.
- Conducted educational sessions in key areas like Kirahizo, Bubwiika, Kibiito, Kiboha, Mugusu, and Kabaswiswi primary schools and the communities around them.
- Leveraged radio announcements, news stories, and talk shows to increase audience reach.
- Facilitated behavior change leading to increased bed net usage and early treatment seeking.
- Established partnerships with local health facilities to ensure access to essential malaria services.
