Progress Report
Donate for the Rehabilitation of Down Syndrome Children
Project SummaryThe project “Donate for the Rehabilitation of Down Syndrome Children” aims to provide essential rehabilitation, educational, therapeutic, and social support to children with Down syndrome. Through this initiative, we seek to help children develop their physical, cognitive, communication, and social skills and enable them to participate more actively in their families and communities.
Progress During the Reporting PeriodDuring this reporting period, the project made encouraging progress in supporting children with Down syndrome and their families. The project team continued to provide individualized rehabilitation and developmental support according to each child's needs.
Key activities included:
During the reporting period, approximately 18 children with Down syndrome benefited directly from the project. Their families and caregivers also benefited from counseling, guidance, and practical support.
The children demonstrated progress in areas such as communication, physical coordination, social interaction, self-care, and participation in learning activities. Although progress differs from child to child, continued rehabilitation and consistent family support remain essential.
ChallengesThe project continues to face challenges, including the high cost of rehabilitation services, limited resources, transportation difficulties for some families, and the need for ongoing specialized therapy and educational support.
Many families require long-term assistance because rehabilitation is not a one-time intervention. Consistent therapy, educational support, and caregiver involvement are necessary to help children reach their full potential.
Use of DonationsFunds received through the project are being used to support rehabilitation services, educational materials, therapeutic activities, professional assistance, and other essential needs of children with Down syndrome.
Every contribution helps us extend these services to children who may otherwise have limited access to appropriate rehabilitation and developmental support.
Impact and Next StepsThe project has helped create greater opportunities for children with Down syndrome to develop their abilities and participate more fully in everyday life. We plan to continue and expand rehabilitation, educational, and family-support activities during the next reporting period.
We are deeply grateful to GlobalGiving, NDF, donors, volunteers, families, and supporters whose contributions make this work possible.
Appeal for Continued SupportChildren with Down syndrome deserve attention, acceptance, opportunity, and the support they need to thrive. Your continued support can help provide access to rehabilitation, education, therapy, and other essential services.
We invite donors and well-wishers to continue supporting this project so that more children can receive the individualized care and opportunities they deserve.
Together, we can help children with Down syndrome build stronger skills, greater independence, and a more inclusive future.
