Every year in Sierra Leone, communities experience disasters that always have immediate impacts on human health, as well as secondary impacts causing further death and suffering from floods causing landslides, wind and fires. They have lost their homes and properties. Our priority is our school going children left behind that need access to education, livelihood, water and health in their new locations. Our commitment is both short and long term to restore hope and normalcy to them.
Sierra Leone is experiencing serious climate change, due to continuous cutting down of trees and soil exposition, disasters every year in communities around the country. Thousands of helpless people affected through death, home and property destruction, results in displacement and migration. These people cannot be lifted out of poverty, without your little donations.
Donations to this project will help provide food, water, clothing, hygiene products, school feeding, reforestation, gardening, clean water and sanitation, life-skills, livelihoods and their children's education support in their new new location. ChildHelp need partners at local and from international community, to bring in supports, relief and recovery supplies, to help the children live a better life.
