When thyphoon Odette hit the Philippines last December 2021, Kito immediately started preparing to respond to this emergency by gathering information from the field in order to better understand the needs of the population affected. Thanks to the help of our long-term partner, the Filipino Women Association based in Padua, Italy, we were able to keep a better communication with those in most need of relief assistance. With the funds raised, we were able to donate food parcels for more than 80 families affected by the natural disaster.Emergency food is very important to maintain financial stability during disasters or calamities. Keeping your pantry stored is also one way to save money in times of emergency.
