We are currently working with the homes for 100 children to take part in the career assessment tests.
These should be completed and submitted where the company Riasec will calculate and provide the children with a personalized 8 page report of which job they show the greatest aptitude for.
In addition to this, we are working with Shinsei Bank who will be sponsoring a Financial Literacy program for the children to keep in mind how to budget their salary once they land a job as well as how to look at the pluses and minuses of different job status, i.e. part time, contractor and full time employee.
We will start to pair mentors with the children as the results are more clear and this will help the children with the milestone programs for them to begin focusing on what will be entailed in pursuing certain careers.
All 18 year old children in the ten homes were able to find employment or futher education this year so we are focusing on the next generation graduating March 2017.
