Provide goats and hens to 100 widows and orphans

100 widows who lost their land and property to relatives will be trained and provided 4 goats and 3 hens each for income generation. Incomes wil help in education and feeding of orphans.

100 women who have lost their husbands and whose property like land, animals and shelter have been grabbed by relatives and 100 orphans will be targeted. Widows-headed households have lost their land to either their relatives or rich people who connive with Government workers in ministry of lands to transfer landownership by altering land titles in their names. Goverment workers in the ministry of lands have connived with rich people and altered land titles to cheat the poor.


100 women will be trained on providing care to goats and hens and how to market their products. 400 goats and 300 hens will be provided to 100 women and 100 orphans for income generation. They will be mobilized to form village savings and loans grou

Long-Term Impact

The project will directly benefit 100 widows and 100 orphans through increasing their opportunities to generate income that will enable them to buy land, food and shelter for their children and other family members. This will lead to reduced malnutri
