By Javier Colon-Caraballo | Producer and Director
After editing for months and having several meetings with the Script Advisor and fellow filmmakers we are happy to announce that we have a new solid narrative structure that brings a new light on our protagonists and topics presented in the film. We are now polishing the edit from the screenings that we are making with selected people to hit Picture Lock and continue with the sound design and music composition process.
A new Associate Producer, Arleen Cruz-Alicea is on board helping us to draw a map for the lasts steps of Postproduction and apply for funds that are needed this stage - Color and Sound Mix-, strategize a distribution plan, as well as helping us connect with a resource that is going to get us the rights and licenses of the archival footage that feature in the film. The timeframe looks good for having the completion of the film in December.
Its been a long journey and we’re excited to share this important Puerto Rican film to the world!
