Building Consistency in School Attendance
By Zachery Onyango | Project Leader
Building Consistency in School Attendance
One of the key successes of our program in Tororo District is the improvement in school attendance among the 1,600 children we serve.
With the assurance of a daily meal, children are more motivated to attend school regularly. Absenteeism has decreased, and learners are able to maintain continuity in their studies.
This consistency is critical for academic success, as it allows children to build on their knowledge and skills over time.
Teachers have reported more stable class sizes and better overall engagement from students.
Your support is helping create a reliable and supportive learning environment where children can thrive.

Improved Nutrition, Better Learning
By Zachery Onyango | Project Leader
Improved Nutrition, Better Learning Nutrition and education go hand in hand. In Tororo District, over 1,600 children are now benefiting from improved nutrition through daily school meals. These meals are carefully prepared to provide the energy and nutrients children need to learn effectively. As a result, we are seeing noticeable improvements in concentration, memory, and overall academic performance. Children who once struggled to keep up are now actively participating in lessons and showing greater enthusiasm for learning. This transformation highlights the importance of addressing basic needs as part of education initiatives. Your support is helping unlock the full potential of these young learners.

Safety Net for Vulnerable Families

Safety Net for Vulnerable Families
For many families in Tororo District, providing daily meals remains a significant challenge.
By reaching over 1,600 children, our program is acting as a vital safety net. Parents can send their children to school with the assurance that they will receive a nutritious meal.
This support reduces household stress and allows families to focus on other essential needs. It also encourages consistent school attendance, as children no longer need to stay home due to hunger.
The program is strengthening the connection between families and schools, fostering a shared commitment to education.
Your contributions are making a meaningful difference in the lives of both children and their families.
