Restoring Joy in Learning
Learning should be a joyful experience. But for many children in Tororo District, hunger had taken that joy away.
When a child is hungry, even the most engaging lesson becomes difficult. The excitement of learning fades, replaced by discomfort and distraction.
Through this feeding program, joy is returning to classrooms.
Over 1,600 children are now able to sit through lessons with full stomachs and open minds. Laughter is more common. Participation is higher. The atmosphere in schools has transformed.
Children who once seemed withdrawn are now smiling, interacting, and engaging with their peers and teachers.
This emotional shift is just as important as the academic one.
Education is not only about knowledge—it is about nurturing confident, happy, and hopeful individuals.
Your support is bringing back the joy of learning, one meal at a time.
