Dear Donors,
We are exhilarated to share this news with you! Thanks to your generous support and the exciting €10,000 grant from Conservation Connect’s W4C Circle Grant, this project has been fully funded!
Because of your help, Fridays for Future and Women for Conservation have been able to train 200 women on species conservation, family planning, and sustainable agriculture, granting them further knowledge and power over their own futures and the future of the planet. They were able to plant 4,500 trees over the past two years, which have been crucial in supporting endangered species like the Western Chimpanzee and the Pygmy Hippopotamus, and mitigating climate change effects in their communities.
Looking forward, because of their exciting grant, the women of Sierra Leone will be able to expand this project, resulting in widespread positive impact for hundreds more women, plants, and animals, and subsequently, their communities.
We would like to sincerely thank you for your donations. We could not have started this project without you. If you are interested, we invite you to check out our other projects happening in Colombia, Kenya, Madagascar, and Bolivia. Together, let’s continue to raise up women and girls!
With Warm Regards,
The Women for Conservation Team
