As we come to the end of January, CSR needs your support to continue our sponsorship program for 50 girls in New Delhi. We need to raise an additional $6,300 to provide school tuition, supplies, and health support for the girls in the program. Your donation has already set forty girls on the road to a brighter, more empowered future.

My name is Aisha and I study in class 6 b. I want to be a doctor, and I want to help everyone. The money I got today I will spend it on my school tuitions and school uniform. I will eat what I feel like eating. I will also eat what is usually recommended like bananas, eggs, bread, and vegetables. Thank you.
Our girls come from families that are struggling to make ends meet, often with several children and a range of financial challenges.
Aisha’s father has studied up till the 9th standard and was paralyzed in an accident five years ago, making it difficult for him to find paying work. To support the family - including Aisha and her brother - her mother works as domestic help in a nearby colony.
So far, the family has spent Rs 5000 on Aisha’s dress, books, geometry box and shoes and is using the rest of the 12,000 rupees to support her education up to the next school year, which begins in March. Without this support, more than a month of her mother’s salary would be consumed by school fees and supplies and the family would be forced to cut in other places such as health care and food. Because of your support, the family will not have to make this compromise.
The families in our program have made a commitment that these girls eat well and receive the health care and support that they need to excel in school. They are preparing their daughters for success and leadership later in life.
The $8,500 we raised last year supported 40 girls and their families in this way.
