I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for donating to support girls’ education in New Delhi.
With your support, we have now raised over US$ 8000 for this project and earned permanent place on the Global Giving platform. This means that the campaign will remain open to receive additional support. Right now, we have resources to support 40 girls in 2016 and want to increase this outreach over the course of the year.
Please keep sharing our campaign with people in your network who would like to get involved.
At CSR, we are committed to ensuring that your donations are directly helping members of our community. In the next few weeks, our staff at our Crisis Management Centres will select 40 girls to receive support and final recipients will be announced publicly on National Girl Child Day, January 24. Students will start their school year in April, when government schools begin their semester.
As the project progresses, we will be providing you with updates about how your donation is making it possible for a girl student to thrive in the classroom. Because of your support, these girls can continue their studies without added financial stress on their families.
