This Giving Tuesday, I’m asking you to renew your support for girls’ education in New Delhi. Last year, Tuba – whose story I shared in our last report – received the support her family needed to help her catch up in school after falling behind during a move. For just $200, her family way able to provide schools fees, extra tuition, and the supplies that Tuba needed to do well in school. When the family's monthly income is under $100 per month, this support goes a long way.
Your generous donations helped us fund 40 girls with the support they need to excel in their studies and take their first steps toward a brighter future. We want to continue the program this year and need your support to make this happen and expand the work. We will continue to support 40 girls and want to add at least an additional 10 to the program. We’re looking to raise $10,000 by the end of the year through our friends and supporters.
Today, Gates Foundation and GlobalGiving are matching 50% of the first $1,000,000 in donations raised on Giving Tuesday, so please make your donation today so that it counts for more. Please give at the level you are comfortable below.
$10 -- school supplies for one girl
$25 – school supplies and uniform for one girl
$50 – tuition, supplies, and nutrition for one girl for 3 months
$100 – tuition, supplies, and nutrition for one girl for 6 months
$200 – tuition, supplies, and nutrition for one girl for 1 year
It would mean so much if you would help reach this goal and share this message today with friends and family who would be willing to help.
With gratitude,
Valerie
