Families, once thriving, now find themselves grappling with the harsh realities of an unprecedented crisis. As we all know, the pandemic has not only posed a threat to physical health but has also cast a daunting shadow over the livelihoods of many. Families, already teetering on the edge, have been pushed further into the abyss of uncertainty. With your donations, the JAAGO Foundation has been providing food, medicine and essential supplies to families facing economic hardship. Your donations have transformed into bags of rice, pulses, and cooking essentials that now sit on the tables of homes where hope was slowly fading away.

Many children from these communities had dropped out of school due to financial hardship. We are trying to bring these children back to school by offering them free of cost education through JAAGO Foundation schools. New methods of teaching are being implemented to eliminate these children's learning gaps.

As part of our efforts, we are also providing skill development training to youths to help them get into the workforce and contribute to the betterment of their families. In a world where socio-economical inequalities are pre-existent, COVID-19 is a curse that developing countries like Bangladesh are yet to break. The marginalised communities of the country are still deeply affected by the adversities of the devastating pandemic. Among the most severely affected are those living in poverty-stricken and low-income neighbourhoods to which our students belong. 

Many of their families lost their only earning member and now depend on reliefs and donations to survive. Many had to make the tough decision of choosing between losing their job or settling for a reduced wage, and many who lost their jobs are still struggling to find one.

With your donation, we are able to aid in financial support to these families. From providing them with basic necessities to giving their children free-of-cost education, we are helping them rise from the adversities and move towards a more sustainable future.
