These first 24h of non-stop work have been very fulfilling. We've already order the ventilators, monitors and all the materials that are daily used by the intensive care units of our hospitals.
We are currently receiving a donation per minute accompanied by messages of support and gratitude from readers of La Stampa, donors, doctors and nurses.
These messages are pushing us to do more for the people in need. In fact, starting this Friday we'll be sending the elderly that are alone in physical and economic difficulty a monetary support together with primary necessity products. So they wont feel lonely in this time of need.
Our support for the healthcare is still on: we are also sending kits with thermometers, oximeters, shygmomanometers and protective goggles. The next step is to provide those who work face to face with the virus with water-repellent labcoats and masks.
In order to continue to help we need your support!
