Remembering the project:
Project Objective
Develop and validate methods for tracking depressive symptoms and tendencies in adolescents, through a serious, digital and scientific game, applicable in the school environment.
Action Fronts
Specific Objectives
After reviewing and improving the content of the test applied, in addition to making visual improvements to the platform used by students, Cool Mind implemented significant updates to its dynamics. With these changes, a new test was conducted at a municipal public school, a partner of the Alpha Lumen Institute.
At the same time, the project team has deepened its investigations into mental health, promoting enriching dialogues with parents and guardians, analyzing real cases and reviewing specialized materials in the area. This interdisciplinary approach, which unites psychology, education and technology, strengthens the project's foundation, allowing it to offer an innovative and efficient solution to youth mental health challenges.
The integration of this new research with the continuous evolution of the platform ensures that Cool Mind keeps up with the needs of students, contributing to the development of more effective and sensitive strategies aimed at the mental well-being of young people in vulnerable situations.
Furthermore, the project presented the game "Cool Mind" at BGS 2024, highlighting its importance as a psychological test to identify children prone to psychological illnesses. This participation made it possible to increase the visibility of the initiative and reinforce its impact on promoting youth mental health.
