Dear Donor,
During the summer months, coding courses were held in four different CYDD branches with university students volunteering as instructors. The branches in Küçükçekmece (Istanbul), Urla (Izmir), 19 Mays Altnkum (Samsun), and Manavgat (Antalya) all conducted Level 1 courses, benefiting 67 students, with 17 volunteer instructors. The photos include highlights from the summer courses, as well as the final day when students presented their projects to their parents.
For the new school year, the Urla and Manavgat branches have expanded their offerings to include both Level 1 and Level 2 courses, while the Afyon branch will begin with a Level 1 course. Each course in Afyon and Urla will benefit 10 students, while due to high demand, Manavgat branch plans to accommodate 20 students in each level. A total of 18 volunteer instructors will be teaching coding to the students.
Thank you for supporting our coding project, which not only equips young children with an essential skill for the 21st century but also provides invaluable teaching experience to our volunteer university students.
Sincerely,
By Guldal Ebeoglu | Project Division CYDD Headquarters
