Thanks to all of our donors and others we have successfully made it to new funding for our work in Bangladesh. We lost one nurse and one paliative care assistant but were able to continue to serve our existing patients through to March. During this time we were unable to take new patients and had to curtail providing food and medicines but our patients were seen at home and our volunteers continued to help. The new project started Mid March with funding from an anonymous donor. However we still need your support!!
In the new project we are continuing the services in Narayanganj but are expanding to teach the staff at the local primary health care center (Bandur Upazilla) how to provide care to their patients thanks to the support of the Mayor and the government Departmente of Health. We still need your support as we expand palliative care in Bangladesh. Many thanks to our partners in this new project the main medical university BSMMU, AYAT Education, and St. Christopher's Hospice. Our patients thank you and your help is relieving their suffering. Please continue to contribute!
