Futaleufú Riverkeeper's community-based water quality monitoring program is entering the new year with momentum and force. In the face of the unprecedented changes of the pandemic, the volunteer monitors have diligently continued to carry out their monitoring. To date, there are over 60 data points from 9 monitoring sites documenting pH, alkalinity, hardness, dissolved oxygen, temperature, and turbidity. Along with continuing to monitor, Futaleufú Riverkeepe is now working on analyzing and presenting the first batch of data and looking ahead to monitor recertification in March.
