Thanks to your support , the Code Her Future Kenya program at Ready Aiders Foundation has continued to empower vulnerable young mothers with practical digital skills. In the first quarter of this year alone, more than 60 young mothers participated in our training sessions. Many of these women had previously dropped out of school due to early pregnancy and had very limited opportunities to continue learning or build independent livelihoods.
One particularly meaningful milestone this quarter has been Cohort 19, which consists largely of teenage mothers who are navigating the responsibilities of raising children while still trying to build a future for themselves. Through structured classes, the participants are learning basic computer skills, digital literacy, and online tools that can open pathways to employment, small business opportunities, and continued education. For many of these young women, this is their first time using a computer, and the confidence they gain from mastering these skills is transformative.
Beyond the classroom, the program continues to provide mentorship, peer support, and encouragement that helps the young mothers stay engaged in learning despite difficult circumstances. By investing in their education and digital skills, donors are helping these women move from isolation and limited opportunity toward confidence, independence, and hope for a better future for themselves and their children.
