Dear Friend,
The Girls ICT Center in Mathare continues to provide digital skills training to young women facing barriers to education and employment. This quarter, we successfully graduated Cohorts 13 and 14, equipping them with essential digital skills to access job opportunities in the technology sector.
Key Achievements
Impact
Many of our graduates come from families where early marriage and poverty limit access to education. Through this training, they now have marketable skills that can help break the cycle of poverty by enabling them to earn a sustainable income. Several graduates have already secured small freelance projects in web design and graphic design.
Challenges & Future Plans
While the program has been successful, limited access to personal laptops and internet connectivity at home remains a challenge for some graduates. We aim to establish an alumni support program to provide continued mentorship and resource access.
Your contributions are helping young women in Mathare build a brighter future through technology. Thank you for being part of this journey!
