"Hi, dear donors! We are back to our coaching class", says Deepu (name changed) happily.
Deepu is in the seventh standard. She is an average student. She has an elder sister who is in 11th standard. She is also one of our coaching class students. Their father deserted the family for another woman. Their mother is working as a caretaker in a nearby hospital and earns $40 per month. The family is very poor and in spite of all oddities their mother wants the girls to study. New Life supports the family by providing education support.
The coaching classes started functioning from the first of September. The children are happily attending the classes after a long gap of one and a half years. "The children have lost touch and I should spend more time now with them to revamp the studies. They are finding it difficult to do even simple tests. It's all the effect of the pandemic," says the New Life's coaching class teacher Mrs. Jeyarani.
The 75th independence Day was celebrated at Kodappu. The flag was hoisted with the coaching class children. An awareness on the importance of education was given at the meeting. The secretary of New Life and the coordinator were honoured by the local leader.
We thank all our donors for their valuable support to our organisation to help the poor kids we work with and their families in spite of all odds and economic crunch during this pandemic. Kindly spread words about our work to your friends and relatives so that we can continue to support these poor children to grow up into wonderful adults.
Thanking you once again.

Dear Donors,
The children are asking us, "When can we come back to the coaching class and start going to schools?". The pandemic has tied down the children to home and they are yet to attend the coaching class due to the restriction for the children to go to school. We continue to pray that the world will soon recover from the pandemic COVID-19 and start functioning normally. We are waiting to see our beautiful children coming back to our learning centre and coaching classes soon.
Ani (name changed) is now preparing for competitive exams. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Economics and wants to get a government job. She fondly remembers her days in the coaching class and thanks our team for supporting her even now by lending books through our mobile library. This helps her to prepare for the competitive exams.
The pandemic has raised a need for supporting the families of our coaching class children to sustain economically and to intervene in the health aspects of children. Hence New Life is taking initiatives to provide the same. We request you to kindly support the organisation to help us to do it.

Stay safe and fight COVID-19!

Dear Donors,
The Republic Day and Samathuva Pongal were celebrated at New Life's Kajapettai Early Learning Centre on 26th January. It was celebrated to foster freedom, peace, unity and compassion. The flag was hoisted by the chief guest Rtn. Valarmathi, President, Rotary Club of Trichirappalli Sakthi. Competitions were conducted for women (kolam competition) and children (sack race and frog race). Prizes were sponsored by RCT Shakthi. Pongal was distributed and sweets given.
It was lovely to see our alumnae participate in the competitions conducted. Jassi (name changed) was a student of our early learning centre during 2009-11. She is now studying in 9th standard. She compered the Republic Day programme. She thanked New Life team for giving her the motivation even after she left the early learning centre. She is able to study well and participate in programmes only with the continuous support provided to her by New Life's coaching class.
We thank you, dear donors, for supporting poor, deprived, deserted children like Jassi to have a safe childhood with nutritious food and help them to achieve age-appropriate milestones. Kindly keep supporting these poor children who are from difficult circumstances. Keep spreading words about the project to your friends and relatives. Even your small contributions are valuable for our children. During this pandemic time, we are providing nutritious food to the children and help us help them. Thank you. With regards
