Hygiene education is another important component of our work. Families are encouraged to use clean containers, store drinking water safely, wash their hands with soap, and maintain clean surroundings around water collection points.
Improving access to reliable water sources can help families reduce their dependence on potentially contaminated alternatives. It can also create opportunities for better household hygiene and improved quality of life.
Despite the importance of these interventions, many communities still need additional resources for borehole rehabilitation, maintenance, and water infrastructure development.
Our appeal to GlobalGiving donors
Your generosity can help AlliedAid Uganda bring clean water solutions closer to vulnerable families. Every contribution can support efforts to improve water access, strengthen community management, and promote healthier living conditions.
Together, we can help ensure that rural families in Tororo District have a better opportunity to access the safe water they need to live healthy and productive lives.
