Dear Friend,
At Ready Aiders Foundation’s CleanPlate Centre in Mathare, therapy begins with nourishment.
This quarter, 150 families raising children with autism and developmental delays received free therapy sessions — speech, occupational, behavioral, and play — alongside monthly food parcels to support nutrition at home.
Parents often tell us how the food parcels relieve financial stress and allow them to focus on their child’s progress. One mother shared, “Before CleanPlate, we missed sessions because there was nothing at home. Now my son looks forward to therapy every week.”
Every parcel is more than food — it’s peace of mind. Every session is a step toward inclusion.
This festive season, we’re running our “Season of Giving: Festive Food Drive” to support all 150 families through December.
Here’s how you can help:
Together, we can make sure no child’s therapy journey is interrupted by hunger.
Yours in Transformation,
Vanessa Karabai
