A life saving therapy center in Mathare slums

By kenneth Apopa | CEO

Dear Friend,

Thank you for continuing to stand with children with disabilities and their families.

This quarter has been one of remarkable growth for the Clean Plate Nutrition and Therapy Project. Thanks to your support, we have doubled the number of children receiving weekly services, from 30 to 50 children. Every Saturday, our therapy centre in Mathare is filled with children accessing occupational and speech therapy, while their caregivers receive guidance, psychosocial support, and practical skills to better support their children's development at home.

Beyond therapy, families continue to benefit from nutrition support and increased community awareness about disability, early intervention, and inclusion. We are also seeing stronger engagement from parents, many of whom are becoming advocates for their own children and others within their communities.

The growing demand for our services reminds us that many more families are still waiting for support.

With additional funding next quarter, we plan to expand therapy sessions, acquire more therapy equipment and learning materials, strengthen caregiver support, and reach even more children who currently lack access to affordable rehabilitation services.

Your generosity is helping children develop essential life skills while giving families renewed hope for the future. Thank you for making this transformation possible.

With gratitude,
Kenneth Apopa
