Feeding Children with disabilities

The clean plate nutrition project has been a big success thanks to your continuous, timely, and kind donations. Many families of children with disabilities in Kenya continue to feel the economic impacts of the covid 19 pandemic. With the loss of jobs and hardship to do business such families heavily rely on food donations from various organizations to get through.
The current climate change crisis has not made it any better for such families. The clean plate nutrition and therapy project ensures that families that have kids with disabilities get access to food packages every quarter to help them sail through.
Your donations ensure that more than 100 such families continue to receive support. We urge you to do your best to continue assisting these families. On their behalf, we say thank you and God bless you.

FOOD FOR KIDS WITH DISABILITIES IN KENYA

Over the past few months, we have been able to reach out to more than thirty families with kids who have different disabilities. We realize that with the current inflation rates in Kenya and the world, many families with kids who have special needs continue to suffer and go hungry every day .
Food prices have shot up and now more than ever we need more assistance to battle hunger in families with kids who have disabilities. Many of these families are single-parent families and they do not have stable sources of income. They depend on odd jobs to put food on the table and take care of medical expenses for their kids.
Mothers bear the brunt of disability when it comes to their children . We are requesting you to share this fundraiser with your friends and family and help us get more resources to make a difference .

Food bought for families
Food security is a big issue the world over. Many households cannot afford to have more than a meal per day. In most cases, they afford very little quantities of the same food every day and this leads to malnutrition among other issues.
Children with disabilities from low-income areas like Mathare continue to suffer the most due to cases of malnutrition and starvation. Coming from families that live below the poverty line and are greatly affected by the effects of disability is not easy on them.
During the last quarter, we reached out to more than 60 families through the clean plate nutrition project and gave out food packages containing nutritious foods. To these families, the food given is an opportunity to be grateful and have a meal as a family.
All these we were able to do on behalf of you who has donated to this project and follow up to make sure it is working on the ground. Your donation is a sign of kindness and we do not take it for granted. Please do consider being a monthly donor for this cause.
