The Every Child Fund, our most vital fund, empowers Boston Children’s Hospital to respond to a changing world with one goal: to give every child a healthy future. We provide compassionate care to children facing illness and injury, as well as caring support to their families. Here are some of the ways your donation supports our patients and families:
Nurture Every Child
Facing an illness can be a stressful experience for a child, but we do our best to bring joy to the hospital and to our patients. Through experiences that include celebrations, therapy dogs, and music therapists, we are able to help kids continue to be kids during their visit.
Support Every Family
When a child is sick, it can affect the entire family. Parents may need to put their lives on hold, which can lead to overwhelming choices. The Every Child Fund supports our family-centered care, alleviating some of the stressors that a family may experience, so parents can focus on their sick child. These services, housing, interpreters and social workers are not covered by insurance.
Conquer Every Disease
Boston Children’s is where the world comes for answers. We find solutions that others can’t, and we tackle childhood diseases from every angle. Boston Children’s Hospital is home to the world’s largest pediatric research facility in the world, and our research is part of break-through discoveries in helping find cures. We share our treatments with the world through training and global programs.
Boston Children’s Hospital has always worked tirelessly to help sick and injured children and families, and we will continue to do so in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. While the quality of care for our patients has not changed, our needs are greater now than we could ever have imagined. Our hospital workers are putting their lives on the line every day to save children’s lives, and they cannot do it alone. By generously offering your support to Boston Children’s, you are a part of bringing healing and hope to children and families during this crisis. You allow families to receive an extraordinary level of care, one we otherwise could not make possible. Because of you, parents can focus on what's most important: their child. Thank you for your support.
