Hello!
We have exciting news! You can increase the impact of your donation to Stop the Silence by making a donation starting on October 12, 2010 at midnight EDT! Stop the Silence is participating in GlobalGiving's Give More, Get More campaign, in which every donation made to our project will be matched at the following scale:
$10 - $499 -> 30% match
$500 - $999 -> 40% match
$1,000 - $2,500 - > 50% match
This is GlobalGiving's last matching campaign of the year and the last chance for you to have your donations to Stop the Silence matched. The campaign will run until October 21st or until all matching funds ($100,000) are used. Donate now before the matching funds run out!
Recently, we sent a report of our work to let you know about all of the exciting programming, including bringing the Stop the Silence-inspired play, To Kill A Kelpie, from Scotland to three venues across the U.S. (see the attached draft flyer), to the Boys' Leadership Studio, to Queendom TEA for girls, to the seventh annual Race to Stop the Silence on April 23, 2011 in Washington, D.C. (www.stopcsa.org) and more. It all aims at increasing advocacy, education, and dialogue about child sexual abuse -- so that we can all do something more about it.
With the funds we receive during the Give More, Get More campaign, Stop the Silence will continue and expand this very, very important programming. Go to: http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/child-sexual-abuse/. Please help us continue to make a difference. Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Pamela Pine, PhD, MPH, Founder and CEO
