Sonidos Para La Vida continues to work so that children and young people in our communities have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument and, at the same time, to receive all the benefits that this provides for their personal development.
We cannot forget that music develops many skills and abilities in those who practice it, so it cannot be left aside in the educational process of any person.
This new year, the Sounds for Life orchestra is starting with approximately 80 students, and we will grow even more thanks to the help you give us, without which we would not be able to work.
We have also started a new project with which we aim to reach a much larger number of primary school children. This new project consists of the development of a small booklet in which different musical activities appear, which grade teachers will be able to carry out with their students and in this way will bring each child closer to a closer experience with music.
In Guatemala, the Music Education class was eliminated from the curriculum, so we must all strive to ensure that music continues to be part of the educational process of our children and youth.
We very much appreciate you considering helping so that we can continue to develop this project that has become so important for our communities.
Together we can continue to bring the joy of music to increasingly Guatemalan children and youth.
