- ReBit has released the results of its large-scale survey of LGBTQ children and youth, the "LGBTQ Children and Youth Survey 2025." This is the second survey following the one conducted in 2022. While social progress has been made, such as the enactment of the LGBT Awareness Promotion Act and the inclusion of diverse sexualities in school textbooks, this latest survey highlights the serious challenges and difficulties LGBTQ youth still face.

- About "diverseeds": A leadership development program run by the certified nonprofit organization ReBit since 2018, it supports youth initiatives to address and raise awareness of LGBTQ issues. To date, it has supported the activities of 60 young people, and this year, in collaboration with UNESCO and with the support of universities and research institutions across Japan, the program will be expanded on an even larger scale.
• Duration: September 2025 - March 2026 (7 months)
• Target audience: Students or individuals aged 18-25 who are interested in and want to work in the LGBTQ field (regardless of sexuality, approximately 30 participants)
<Project Overview>
1. Online Training (approximately 6 sessions): This supports leadership development through LGBTQ/Ally Leadership Training developed by UNESCO and lectures by leading experts in Japan.
2. Mentoring (approximately once a month): Senior LGBTQ leaders from the public, private, industry, and academia sectors mentor you and support your project.
3. In-person training camp and report session in Tokyo (scheduled for March): Participants from all over the country will gather for a training session that will also serve as a report session. This will be a valuable opportunity to meet LGBTQ organizations and role models.
4. Horizontal connections with leaders of the same generation: Meet, talk with, and be inspired by peers from diverse backgrounds, and build relationships that help you to move forward together.

- On December 10, 2025, a "Symposium on Creating Cities Where LGBTQ People Can Live in Peace" was held in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo.
The symposium featured a speech by the mayor of the local government that introduced the first partnership system in Japan, as well as introductions of local government case studies and sharing of the practices of organizations working to raise awareness, support, and create spaces for LGBTQ people. Through these activities, the symposium aimed to explore measures that can be implemented locally and ways in which local governments and organizations can work together.
Approximately 100 people attended the event, including local government officials from across the country, LGBTQ organizations, and people involved in urban development. Through presentations and exchanges of opinions from diverse perspectives, the symposium provided an opportunity to consider how to create cities where LGBTQ people can live safely.

• Program 1: "Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Partnership System and Considering the Next 10 Years"
- Reflect on the progress of LGBTQ policies to date, including the introduction of the partnership system, and consider future possibilities for creating cities where LGBTQ people can live safely.
• Program 2: Introduced Local Government Practices
- Local governments working on LGBTQ policies introduced specific initiatives such as planning, implementing systems, promoting understanding, and providing consultation and support, as well as intra-agency collaboration and initiatives involving the entire community, including schools and businesses.
• Program 3: Thematic Sessions
-Learn about specific measures for each theme in order to create a city where LGBTQ people can live safely.
Organizations shared practical examples of collaboration between government and local organizations, and participants considered what can be achieved through collaboration in the community.
Theme 1 Awareness-Raising/Public-Private Partnerships
Introducing examples of initiatives by organizations that work with government to promote understanding of LGBTQ, including training and public engagement events.
Theme 2 Counseling Support
An organization that works with government to provide LGBTQ counseling support shares key points for system development and implementation.
Theme 3 Creating Safe Spaces/Exchange Hubs
Introducing the efforts of an organization that works with government to create safe spaces and exchange hubs for LGBTQ people.

- ReBit, a certified nonprofit organization, and JobRainbow, Inc. jointly held the "DIVERSITY CAREER FORUM 2025" on December 13, 2025, in Tokyo and online.
<Event Overview>
-This year marks the 10th anniversary of this forum, which aims to create a society where everyone can work and live as they wish, regardless of differences in gender, sexual orientation/gender identity, nationality, disability, and other backgrounds.
-More than 350 people attended the event throughout the day, providing a fulfilling opportunity to think about diversity with speakers from a diverse range of backgrounds, including minority groups, business leaders, researchers, lawyers, and YouTubers.

-"Working Styles for People with Overlapping Lifestyle Difficulties" ~Tips for "Working in Your Own Way" from a Career Supporter for People with Developmental Disabilities and Transgender People~
<Event Overview>
-This event drew on the ReBit CEO's own experiences of failure, ingenuity, and dealing with personal characteristics, as well as the support knowledge he has accumulated through his diversity career, to offer clear, easy-to-understand tips on how to work in a way that suits you, even when life is difficult. This content was useful for those experiencing work difficulties, those considering returning to work or changing jobs, as well as supporters and companies.

-On December 15, 2025, ReBit translated and published all three books in the picture book series "This is My Color!", which focuses on the themes of gender equality and fairness.
The publisher is Yumani Shobo, which has an extensive track record in the fields of education and humanities.
-Leveraging 16 years of knowledge in the field of education to create teaching materials that can be used in the classroom.
Since its founding in 2009, ReBit has been leveraging its expertise in teaching practices, teaching materials development, and teacher training at schools across the country on the themes of LGBTQ, gender, and sexual diversity to create supplementary teaching materials (lesson plans and worksheets) and video materials for use in classes that correspond to the picture book series.
All content can be downloaded for free and can be used immediately in schools.
"I don't know which grade level and how to use this," "It's a sensitive topic so I'm worried,"
In response to such teacher feedback, the book has been designed to allow even first-time teachers to teach with confidence.
