FY2025 Activity Report Highlights

By Mika Yakushi | Representative Director

1. Featured in All Junior High School Textbooks: Classes & Training Reached Approx. 11,000 People

This was a historic year, as content regarding diverse sexualities and genders was included in all junior high school textbooks. We conducted 88 classes and training sessions for schools and local governments, reaching approximately 11,000 participants. By providing 2,200 educational materials and accumulating 21,000 views on our videos, we actively supported the creation of safe school environments.

2. Life & Employment Support for Approx. 6,500 LGBTQ Individuals in Urgent Need

Due to the impact of social barriers such as bullying and employment difficulties, LGBTQ individuals face a higher risk of mental health struggles and financial instability. To address these challenges, we provided vital life and employment support to a cumulative total of approximately 6,500 LGBTQ individuals facing these hardships.

3. Training & Awareness Programs for Businesses, Healthcare, and Welfare Sectors Reaching Approx. 15,000 People

We empowered LGBTQ individuals to live and work authentically. This was achieved through corporate training, supporting the design of HR systems and consultation frameworks, and raising awareness among professionals in the healthcare and social welfare sectors.

4. 10th Anniversary of One of Japan's Largest Diversity Career Forums

Co-hosted with JobRainbow Co., Ltd., and supported by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the forum featured exhibition booths from 29 companies. With 220 in-person attendees and 200,000 views on our live stream, the event successfully empowered numerous young people to pursue their careers as their authentic selves.

5. Partnering with Approx. 450 Municipalities to Build Safe Communities Nationwide

We provided our expertise to approximately 450 local governments to assist in policy-making for LGBTQ and diversity initiatives. In Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture—where we have provided continuous support over a three-year period—this partnership successfully led to the formulation of a city-wide diversity plan, comprehensive staff training, and engaging events for local citizens.

6. Supporting a Cumulative Total of 135 LGBTQ Organizations to Empower Local Leaders Nationwide

As an intermediary support organization, we provided organizational management assistance and grants to a cumulative total of 135 organizations across Japan, fostering and empowering local leaders who drive change within their respective regions.
