By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader
Dear prospective donors,
Across Nigerian cities, many homeless people live on the streets with untreated wounds, infections, and chronic illness. Without shelter or access to clinics, they are often left to suffer in silence, using unsafe remedies or going without treatment altogether. Children and adults alike are exposed to hunger, cold nights, and diseases that spread quickly in overcrowded street corners.
The Caring for the Homeless Through Street Medicine project will bring doctors, nurses, and supplies directly to the streets where homeless people live. By offering medical checks, treatment, and basic supplies such as wound dressings, the project will reduce preventable deaths and give relief to those who have no home to turn to.
So far, no donations have been received. We appeal to those who wish to see the homeless cared for with dignity to help us begin this project. Even the smallest gift can provide medicine or treatment to someone living on the streets.
With gratitude,
Dominic U. Kadiri
