Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Caring for the Homeless Through Street Medicine project. Your contribution is truly appreciated and gives hope to people living on the streets without access to healthcare. However, the donations received so far will not be enough to kickstart the project yet, and more support is needed.
Many homeless individuals continue to suffer from untreated wounds, infections, chronic illnesses, and mental health conditions without access to medical attention. Some are unable to visit hospitals due to poverty, discrimination, or lack of transportation.
Without early care, many health conditions worsen and lead to preventable deaths.
This project is designed to bring basic healthcare directly to homeless communities through trained health workers providing first aid, health checks, malaria testing, referrals, and hygiene support in Lagos, Abuja, and Nasarawa.
With the right support, vulnerable people living on the streets can receive timely medical care and regain hope and dignity.
We remain grateful for the support received so far and hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this outreach.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
