The Best Way To Send a Cow to a Family in Poverty
Should you ship that cow in the mail? Probably not. GlobalGiving has a much easier way for you to give livestock to families in poverty.
When you give livestock to a family in poverty, you give them a sustainable source of food and income. Milk, eggs and meat can be eaten or sold. Manure from the animals fertilizes food crops, helping families grow more fruits and vegetables. And the livestock’s offspring can be sold for ongoing income.
And the best part about giving livestock through GlobalGiving is that you give so much more than the animal itself. Our local partner implementers know the unique needs of their neighborhoods. When people like you donate livestock, the staff at Charitable Incorporated Community Organization Uganda deliver the animal and offer training in how best to care for it so the family benefits from it for years to come.
Through Charitable Incorporated Community Organization Uganda @GlobalGiving View All Gifts Catalog, you can donate livestock like cows, goats, pigs and chicken to help a family in need. (Don’t worry: Our local partner implementers will do the hard work of actually getting the animal to the family!)
