Dear Friends
We have some fantastic news to tell you as well as some updates about the things we are up to. We want to THANK YOU for supporting us. We started our activities in March with material arranged for the whole year, and in just three months everything has been distributed.
In malls, restaurants, universities, museums and workshops 5,000 booklets of the “It´s a myth and it´s not permitted “ campaign were deliver and with them many people learned about myths and truths of persons with cognitive disability.
We had the opportunity to work with families on computer training sessions, workshops for pedagogical support, focus groups and on the occasion of Mother's Day we had a celebration.
June 1 with our "No 2 are alike" campaign we reach our 2015 annual target of 5,000 students and 30 schools; It´s amazing seeing those little faces smiling and proudly displaying his self-portrait and building a paper chain to symbolically join their differences to recognize the value of diversity.
It is very satisfying for us the enthusiasm with which the workshops have been received in the schools of the region and we hope to continue multiplying this initiative to reach twice of the initial goal this year.
So we want to invite you today to express your personal fight against discrimination by 3 things:
1. Take a moment to give yourself a pat on the back for your contribution, you deserve it.
2. Enter and make a USD 20 donation - to allow 10 students to participate in a "No 2 are alike" workshop and receive the free activities booklet.
3. Invite 10 friends to follow you in this initiative by sharing our project "Intellectual Disability:Busting Myths In Colombia" ,on facebook twitter or Instagram Why don’t?
With your help, the best is yet to come!
Your actions today will perpetuate your legacy of generosity in the life of future generations.
Thanks!

Estimados amigos
Muchas gracias!
