Project Report | Aug 17, 2018
Porque la educacion es la clave, seguimos capacitando/Because education is the key, we keep training

By Martha Robles | Project Leader

ENGLISH VERSION BELOW

ENGLISH VERSION

Since our last report, we have continued to work constantly, and what was predominant in these months were the orientation and training sessions.

We share with early childhood educators the importance of being inclusive from an early age with our children, and we had the pleasure of concluding the course of customer service given by the ITSA Public University to our members with a very emotional certificate delivery ceremony.

Once again we see that our work is transcending frontiers, the No 2 are alike strategy that we have developed with more than 25,000 children in our city, was shared by the president of Fundown Caribe during the World Congress of Down syndrome held in Glasgow Scotland and to our great pleasure it was very well received, we hope that in the future many more children will continue to benefit.

And to close the period we organized a series of conferences in which about 40 families, 80 educators and 50 other professionals could participate, with them we share information about the new laws and the changes that favor the inclusion of students with disabilities.

It is very satisfying to see that in such a short period of time and thanks to those who accompany and support us, we can continue to benefit our community, and of course the people with disabilities of the Caribbean region.

 Thanks one more time
