The Youth Fund is a fairly small fund, but we believe that young people need an opportunity to start businesses. In some areas, jobs are hard to find. Starting a business provides opportunity to move forward in a positive way. Thank you again for donating so Ahmad and other young business owners can have an opportunity!
Here is a story of a young entrepreneur that Poverty 2 Prosperity helped fund his business:
Ahmad is 24 years old and a refugee from Bilasuvar region. He is an IDP (Internally Displaced Person) and lives in Bilasuvar region. He is single. Ahmad is a very stern man. He is loyal to his principles. He knows that success requires dedication. He likes to provide more natural products to people.
Being a refugee and from the region where people are more familiar with farming, gives him more advantage in the local market. Ahmad is more familiar with local area people and knows the peoples' needs and demands. In Azerbaijan people consume a lot of meat. He raises calves, fattens and sells their meat. Locally, many butchers are selling meat. But Ahmad has an advantage, because people know him as an honest person, who sells the natural meat.
Currently, Ahmad is planning to buy 2 calves and for this he needs 1200 AZN.
