The health crisis that Mexico and the world are going through due to the Covid-19, has brought with it new learning processes in all aspects of our lives. Patronato de Apoyo Social, A.C. Casa PAS, this challenge has meant making changes in the way of care and services we provide to our beneficiaries. We know that at this time, the families of the girls and boys we attend also undergo important learning. The periods of time spent at home have caused frustration, anger, sadness and stress, which is why Casa PAS has intervened in an important way to offer academic, psychological and social work support at a distance so that families can have stability during confinement and until such time that one returns to the activities that werecommonly performed and, most importantly, to the new normality.
The project Strengthening My Skills for Learning, approved by the Fideicomiso por los niños de México has been adapted to carry out academic leveling at a distance. We have digitized the internal communication channels through zoom of WhatsApp groups for monitoring and follow-up with the families and children we serve at Casa PAS.
Remote work plans were adapted. In some cases, it was possible to work through groups and video conferences, in others, due to the way the girls and boys learned, they worked individually.
The results are phenomenal, we have received report cards for all grades and we have great news that we have finished the 2019-2020 school year with an overall average of 8.6
The procedures to change the plates of our new truck are pending, due to the closure of the government offices.

We are very happy with our new school bus. Currently, we are carrying out the procedures to have the bus plates that allow us to circulate without problem.
Children of Casa PAS started the year 2020 with great enthusiasm. On January, we received the visit of RCI Company, who brought gifts for the children of Casa PAS, ate pizza and broke piñatas. Likewise, Ambra Consultores Company gave some very warm jackets and Crocs to our children.
We started with the Soroban (mathematics) classes with the participation of 23 children from primary school. Likewise, a further process of social services began with young people from the Universidad Panamericana and the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey who rely on the Homework Club.
In the psychology area, we have three volunteers who are working hand in hand with the coordinator attending 10 children.
For our children, the most enjoyable activities are going back swimming and gym classes at DIF social program.

At Casa PAS we are very happy to fulfill our dream of having a truck for school. We already have the truck and what we need is to finish upholstering the chairs and changing the floor. We participate in #GivingTuesday to get more donations.
While this happens, our children have continued their activities. The academic leveling project paid off first. In the last quarter of the year the evaluations were carried out in the elementary school and it was very gratifying to know that our children had 8.4 of general average.
The children of Casa PAS closed the year with a Christmas event in which they participated acting, singing and dancing. Likewise, end of the year activities were closed at Deportivo “Niños Héroes” with swimming lessons.
The girls and boys of Casa PAS, we are very grateful for having decided to be part of this wonderful project, and it fills us with joy to have people of good social and charitable sense with the desire to always help others.
We are very excited because our dream of having a school truck is about to come true. We have received a 2013 VW city bus donated by an anonymous person. He is currently in the body shop and paint shop. They are making him very handsome for the girls and boys of Casa PAS.
The following is the installation of the seat belts that we hope for the month of October to have it ready.
As you can see, your donation has made our dream come true. Wait for our news very soon
