Joyfully we have received a VW Bus 2013 in which we have made minor mechanical repairs with you donations we received in the March Campaign. We have also painted the bus and we are waiting to receive permission plates to circulate. The bus needs to upholster the 20 seats, buy and install 20 seat belts as well as a new carpet for the floor. It is the las step to be able to have a new school bus.
Based on data from the National Institute of Public Health (INSP), Mexico ranks seventh in the world and third in the Latin American region in deaths from road accidents. Road accidents are the leading cause of death in individuals 5 to 34 years of age and represent the second cause of orphanage in the country. This project will benefit 30 children and their families who grow up in vulnerable circumstances and do not have access to safe transportation.
Casa PAS is a civil association that provides comprehensive education to children in vulnerable situations, giving them the opportunity to improve their quality of life. This project will help us to bring children in optimal safety conditions to their schools and to the other activities we do during each month, teaching them how to circulate insurance.
The project will help bring 30 Casa PAS children to their schools and also to all the children that require the service of this home, which will make it possible to fulfill the dream of a good road education as a contribution to citizen commitment and responsibility. Together we can change the destiny of these little ones betting on education and tomorrow we will feel the great satisfaction of making a difference in the lives of these little angels and their families.
