With your help we will build Diana Rosa and 9 Peruvian families living in extreme poverty a descent home. They currently live in houses which walls and roof are made from reed mats and plastic bags. Due to the weather conditions and a lack of proper medical care, a high percentage of this families children suffer from deceases such as bronchitis and bone aches because they don't have the proper protection from the cold weather. Help us build them a House of Wood. Help us save their lives.
There are still 10 families living in extreme poverty conditions in the villages of Nuevo San Jose and Los Olivos (in Canete (150 km to the south of Lima). They are sharing one room houses between at least 4 members. In this room they sleep, eat, play and share family moments dealing into an overcrowding of people which slows down the correct development of the family. This leads thru a number of internal problems in all aspects of their lives and environment.
This project will complete the reconstruction of the two villages by building a house for the families of: 1. Diana Unicuica 2. Antonia Leon 3. Teofilo Huaman 4. Jose Camacho 5. Estela Rios 6. Carlos Rios 7. Alex Borja 8. Juanita Pacase 9. Victor Yaya 10. Yolanda Borja With this we will complete our year goal and be able to continue working in other villages.
By giving a house divided in 3 rooms the family gets a cozy space where every member can develop in their personal environment. A room designated for the children, another one for the parents and a common space to share family moments. With this first step, the parents will stop worrying about their house conditions in order to focus on raising their children, improve family economic condition, among other responsibilities.
