With heartfelt gratitude, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to every donor who chose to believe in our vision. Your generosity has done more than provide financial support it has given hope to an entire school community that has long struggled with access to clean and safe water. We would also like to express our deepest thanks to the GlobalGiving team for creating a platform that connects compassionate people around the world with communities in need. Through this incredible platform, organizations like ours are able to turn hope into action and create lasting change.
Although construction of the water system has not yet begun and procurement of materials is still ahead of us, your donations have already set this project in motion. Every successful project starts with careful planning, and because of your support, we have been able to begin taking the critical first steps toward providing clean and safe water for more than 2,000 students. Over the past week, our team has been busy laying the foundation for this important journey. We held virtual planning meetings with teachers and school representatives to discuss the school's current water situation, the needs of the students, and how the project can be implemented successfully. These conversations have been invaluable in helping us understand the daily realities faced by both students and staff.
We also began organizing the initial field assessment, which will soon be conducted at the school. This assessment will help us identify the most appropriate location for the water system one that is easily accessible to students while also ensuring a reliable and sustainable water source. The assessment will also provide the technical information needed to guide the design and construction process. At the same time, we have been engaging local government authorities to ensure that every stage of the project follows the appropriate procedures and aligns with community priorities. Their guidance is helping us develop a clear implementation roadmap while strengthening local ownership of the project. This collaboration will help ensure that the water system remains functional and sustainable long after construction is complete.
Even before the first pipe has been laid, excitement is already growing. Teachers have expressed their full commitment to supporting the project from start to finish, while students have openly shared the challenges, they face each day due to the lack of reliable access to clean water. Their stories remind us why this project matters and reinforce our determination to make a lasting difference. Although we are only at the beginning of this journey, these early preparations are building a strong foundation for a successful and sustainable water system. In the coming weeks, we look forward to conducting the physical site visit, completing the field survey and technical assessment, and then moving into the construction phase. We cannot wait to share these milestones with you.
Thank you for believing in this project from the very beginning. Your generosity is already creating momentum, building partnerships, and bringing us one step closer to ensuring that more than 2,000 students have reliable access to safe, clean water. We are excited to continue this journey together and look forward to sharing the impact your kindness will make in the lives of these children.
