GlobalGiving Campaign Report

Project Title: Improving Learning Spaces for Children with Dyslexia
Campaign Period:Giving Tuesday – December 2024
Total Funds Raised: $2,877
Fundraising Goal: $47,500

Overview

During the Giving Tuesday campaign, we set out to raise $47,500 to enhance learning spaces for children with dyslexia and other special learning needs. While we did not meet our full goal, we are incredibly grateful for the generous support that enabled us to raise $2,877. These funds were instrumental in carrying out much-needed repairs to improve the learning environment at Rare Gem Talent School.

Impact of the Funds Raised

The $2,877 raised was utilized to make critical repairs to the classrooms, ensuring a safer and more conducive learning environment for the children. The specific improvements included:

  • Washing Area – Previously, wastewater from washing spread onto the grass, leading to stagnation and attracting mosquitoes. The wash area was repaired to ensure proper drainage, directing the dirty water into the septic tank.
  •  Flooring: Repaired cracks on the floors caused by the metal chairs.
The photos attached shows the situation before repair and after repair.

Appreciation and Next Steps

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every donor who contributed to this campaign. Your generosity has had a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of the children we serve. While we still have a long way to go to reach our overall goal, the improvements made so far have been a step in the right direction.

We continue to seek additional funding to further enhance the classrooms and complete the remaining necessary renovations. We welcome any additional support to help us create an inclusive and well-equipped learning environment for these deserving students.

Thank you for your support and belief in our mission!
