Project Report | Apr 30, 2026
400 Students and more

By Khaled Abdou | Project Leader

Dear Donors and Partners,

As we conclude the first term of the academic year, we want to share the progress of our students and the vital work ahead of us. Thanks to your commitment, 400 students have successfully completed their first term, growing both academically and personally in a safe, supportive environment.

The school is currently in a 30-day break, and our students are preparing to return for the second term. Seeing the impact of our comprehensive educational support and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program has been incredibly rewarding. These children are not just attending school; they are gaining the tools to break cycles of poverty and lead their communities.

As we prepare to welcome all 400 students back next month, we are facing significant financial hurdles. This term has been particularly challenging, and we are currently struggling to bridge the gap in our operational costs.

To ensure the school opens its doors on time and continues to provide a high standard of education, our immediate priorities include:

  • Teacher Salaries: Our dedicated educators are the backbone of this project. Securing their monthly salaries is essential to maintaining stability and quality instruction.

  • Educational Materials: Providing the necessary books, stationery, and classroom supplies for the new term.

  • Daily Nutrition: Maintaining our meal program, which provides vital breakfast and dinner for day students and three meals daily for our boarding residents.

We are at a critical juncture. To keep our promises to these 400 children, we need to raise additional funds to stabilize our operations for the coming months.

We kindly ask you to consider an additional contribution this quarter. Whether it is a one-time gift or an increase in your recurring donation, your support will directly fund teacher salaries and the daily resources our students depend on.

Thank you for standing with us during this difficult term and for believing in the future of our students.

With gratitude,

The Sofraa Worldwide Team
