We have just concluded conducting monitoring and evaluation on our school project and we are happy to report that this project is promising. We made follow up on performances of the scholarship beneficiaries and the progress to this far is good. We have realized that these beneficiaries are doing will in their class work and the absenteeism has really reduced unlike before when we had so many beneficiaries missing school. The teachers were really pushing us to increase the number of beneficiaries but due to limited resources at the moment we cannot increase the number. Our partners are trying to fundraise for more beneficiaries and we hope in January we will have more beneficiaries. At the moment we are organizing a visit with our partner in September where they will visit the beneficiaries and have a session with them and their parents. These visits are important as we are able to discuss the challenges facing these families as well as encouraging parents to ensure that they provide learning materials and uniforms to their children once they receive scholarship money. We thank all our partners for committing themselves in fundraising for these needy families.

The school has been progressing on well and with the new structures finished, thus giving the school a new look. The number of pupils has also increased and parents are really appreciating the good efforts of the well -wishers and the government. School feeding programme has attracted many children and even those who hated school are now loving it and really avoid missing. This has encouraged the parents a lot and also motivating those who were reluctant to take their children to school and especially girl child. We are very happy about his and we keep on fundraising since there is much to be done with this community. We thank all those who have contributed towards all these good developments and look forward for more support to continue helping our needy communities.

At the beginning of this year the headteacher informed us that he has admitted more new students in this year which is a very positive move. The school had improved in appearance after building new classrooms and also the number of students has increased therefore giving the community much hope. Some well-wishers have visited the school this year and provided scholarships to the very needy students and they have been doing this every year to ensure that these students atleast access the basic needs and attend school. They are wishing to increase the number of beneficiaries and they are calling other well-wishers to join hands in helping these needy children. A lot has been achieved and we are optimistic that we will achieve even more when we join hands and support this community.
