Art Uplifts in Aguadilla

By Angelique Sina | Project Leader

Dear Friends,

We here at Friends of Puerto Rico would like to thank you for your generous support through our partnership with Global Giving. Through your donation, we were able to deliver school and art supplies and after-school programming to the Jose de Diego school in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Furthermore, a group of fifty students from the third grade participated in an educational art therapy class hosted by Mr. Valentin Concha, the art historian, and educator from El Museo del Barrio in New York.

Our organization strongly believes in providing opportunities such as these to our youth. Art inspires, uplifts, and has the power to change lives. We are grateful to have shared this special moment with the students. Their hearts are still smiling.

Friends greatly appreciate your contribution to this cause. This helps to build a prosperous future for the children of Puerto Rico.

Regards,

Angelique Sina
